While all the other suckers are out Christmas shopping, Houston’s Day for Night Festival will be churning out kick-ass music over the weekend of December 15-17, 2017. Topping the lineup are Nine Inch Nails, Solange, and Thom Yorke along with Justice, St. Vincent, Pretty Lights, James Blake, Phantogram, and Shabazz Palaces.
The music will be mixed with an impressive roster of visual artists, who will transform the historic former post office with immersive installations, custom-built structures, and large-scale projections. There’s also a summit with guest speakers Chelsea Manning. Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova, along with a performance piece presented by Saint Heron that includes Solange, Earl Sweatshirt, and Kaytranada.
