Here’s why the Colours of Ostrava in Czech is so damn cool. Besides having a shiny lineup that includes Underworld, M83, Thievery Corporation, Kodaline, and The Vaccines, this year’s fest will also welcome an amazing series of lectures. This new forum called Meltingpot will feature speakers like Israeli Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry Daniel Shechtman, American Pulitzer prize winner for journalism Chris Hedges, Danish environmentalist Björn Lomborg, the Scottish mountaineer Jamie Andrew, Israeli developmental psychologist Sidney Strauss, and American Pulitzer prize winner for poetry Yusef Komunyakaa.
