V Festival

The epic sized V Festival (August 17-18, 2013) has announced a large chunk of this year’s lineup. The high mistress of pop and booty shaking, Beyonce, will headline along with 2013 festival staples, The Kings of Leon.

We know, you want more. The V Festival will also deliver Stereophonics, The Script, Emeli Sande, Calvin Harris, Beady Eye, Jessie J, Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines, Basement Jaxx, Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, James, Rita Ora, The Courteeners, Jason Mraz, fun., Labrinth, Ellie Goulding, Travis, Kendrick Lamar, Of Monsters and Men, Maverick Sabre, DJ Fresh, Jessie Ware, Maximo Park, Lianne La Havas, Rudimental, James Arthur, Scouting for Girls, Little Mix, Deacon Blue, Ocean Colour Scene, The Fratellis, Gabrielle Aplin, and Laura Mvula.

How crazy is the V Festival? It’s actually held at two separate parks. Artists perform at one location on Saturday and then the other on Sunday. The two venues are Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.
