This is only the first round of the Austin Pysch Fest 2013 lineup. A whole bucket full more will be announced in January along with additional headliners. So far we’re looking at girl indie rockers Warpaint, hipster indie rockers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and ambient punk rockers Deerhunter.
Here’s the real big news for this festival:
For the first time in our 6 year history Austin Psych Fest will be held at a completely outdoor venue. Carson Creek Ranch is a scenic, riverside 58 acre ranch on the banks of the Colorado River, just 5 minutes from downtown Austin, Texas which will be transformed into a multistage festival grounds. It’s a beautiful place and will make an excellent setting for the 2013 festival!
A couple details: Austin Pysch Fest is being held from April 26-28, 2013. Tickets are on sale now starting at $120 for the 3 day show.
