From the desert to the high seas, the wickedly popular Coachella announed that they will will be embarking on two cruises this December. The first voyage of the S.S. Coachella will sail from December 16-19, 2012, in the Bahamas. The second leg will head to Jamaica from December 19-23, 2012.

Like the dual weekend Coachella Festival in California, it appears as if both cruises will feature identical lineups which include Pulp, Hop Chip, Yeasayer, Girl Talk, James Murphy, Sleigh Bells, Simian Mobile Disco, Z-Trip, !!!, Warpaint, DJ Harvey, El-P, Killer Mike, Black Lips, The Gaslamp Killer, Grimes, Cloud Nothings, Jason Bently, The Rapture, Father John Misty, Tokimonsta, and Alf Alpha.

Like most festival cruises, trying to determine a price tag can be a challenge. The website has room prices on the ship from $500-$1500 but that doesn’t include taxes, gratuity and booking fees ($200 per person added at check out), travel expenses to and from the port, or shore excursions so we really have no idea how much out of pocket it will cost you to get aboard the S.S. Coachella. Reservations go on sale Saturday July 21st, 2012.

Expect both of these jaunts to sell out quickly, especially the Jamaica cruise.
