The Scene: The simultaneous Rock Am Park/Rock Im Ring is Germany's largest mega-festival with a combined attendance of 150,000 at both festivals. Sónar Barcelona 2022

When: June 15-18, 2022

The Scene: Since its founding in 1994, Sónar has held 25 editions of the festival in Barcelona and another 74 events in 33 cities around the world. Graspop Metal Meeting 2022

Hurricane Festival 2022

Where: Scheessel, Germany

The Scene: It's one of the craziest festivals in Europe with a campground that gets so nuts that they have nicknamed it Mordor. Welcome to the Hurricane Festival, the northern counterpart of Southside, which features the same bands over the same 3-day weekends. The Scene: Holland's finest punk, hardcore, and metalcore get together in Ysselsteyn along with international touring acts. This 8,000 attendee open air festival has grown over the years and now includes two festival tents, the famous Punkbrockbar, a chill area, a food court, signing sessions, a festival market and camping.

Lollapalooza Stockholm 2022

When: July 1-3, 2022

Where: Stockholm, Sweden

The Scene: Lollapalooza adds another location this summer with a new edition in Stockholm. Recently expanded to three days, expect the Swedish version to feature the same great lineups that fans have come to expect from Lolla. Rock Werchter 2022

When: June 30-July 3, 2022

Where: Werchter, Belgium

The Scene: For over 40 years, Belgian festies have descended onto the tiny town of Werchter for this annual 4-day tribute to rock, pop, and everything loud.
