The buzz worthy Hangout Festival returns May 17-19, 2013. The unique beach festival takes place in the appropriately named Gulf Shores in Alabama. From all accounts, the three year old festival sounds like a hell of a good time with performances last year by Jack White, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, Wilco, and The Flaming Lips among others.
Because of the venue location, camping isn’t an option in this tourist town, but there are plenty of hotels, houses, apartments, and condos that provide accommodation. Early bird tickets start at $189 on December 1st, jump up to $209 at an undisclosed date, and finally top out at $229.
