The Capitol Hill Block Party showcases 60 plus bands around the super hip neighborhood of the same name. The dates for this year’s CHBP are July 20-22, 2012. Early bird tickets are available for around $84 which gets you a three day pass — a very affordable $28/day to listen to some great tunes. Last year’s lineup included TV on the Radio, Explostions in the Sky, and Ghostland Observatory so expect more the same great acts for 2012.
They may also be the last Capitol Hill Block Party because of whining from local residents which is referenced on the website with a mysterious ‘final’ added to the title with a question mark.
