The Maifeld Derby, held at a horse-racing track in western Germany, feels less like a festival, and more like a party between close friends. While the eight year old festival’s roots lie in indie rock, there’s a little bit of everything mixed into the lineup. Like usual, I camped in the field, made lots of new friends, saw some profoundly awesome music, and took a few pictures of this incredible weekend of music.
